Shipping & Delivery Information for Truck Freight Orders
Residential Deliveries:
When your order is shipped to a residential address, the freight company will notify you by phone once it arrives at the nearest freight terminal. A delivery appointment will be scheduled at that time. If the delivery is attempted and no one is available to receive the item, a re-delivery fee may be charged. By placing an order, you agree that Sea Tow LLC has the right to charge your credit card for any re-delivery fees we incur on your behalf.
Please note, residential deliveries are curbside only. The freight company is not responsible for unloading or moving the item once it is dropped off, though the truck driver may assist with unloading.
Business Deliveries:
If your order is shipping to a business address, the location must be properly zoned for business use and open during regular business hours. The freight company will not notify you in advance about the delivery, so someone must be present to receive the package during those hours. If no one is available, a re-delivery fee may be charged, and you agree to cover this cost by authorizing Sea Tow LLC to charge your credit card for any re-delivery fees.
Inspecting Your Order Upon Delivery:
While rare, damage can occur during shipping. It is important to inspect your order when it arrives.
Minor Damage or Missing Parts:
If you notice minor damage or missing parts, you may choose to keep the item. However, you must document the damage or missing parts on the shipping Bill of Lading before the driver leaves. Failure to note the damage or parts missing could result in the freight carrier not being able to compensate you for the issues.
Major Damage:
If your order has significant damage (which is uncommon), you should refuse the delivery and not sign for the item. The freight company will return the damaged item to the warehouse. Please contact us immediately if this occurs.
Order Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled under the following conditions:
If the order has not shipped:
Cancellations are allowed, but a restocking fee of up to 30% may apply. This fee depends on the manufacturer and whether the trailer has been built and packaged. Please contact Sea Tow Trailers directly for the specific cancellation fee.
If the order has already been shipped:
You will be responsible for the following charges:
- The original shipping cost to send the product to you.
- The cost of returning the product to its original location.
- A restocking fee of up to 30%, depending on the manufacturer.
Note: Products that are advertised with free shipping still incur freight costs, which are covered by Sea Tow Trailers LLC. If you cancel an order that includes a product with free shipping, you will be liable for the actual freight charges incurred.
